陳慈鴻「Web3 實習營」心得與成果

參與專案：新型態加密貨幣交易所 LPaaE

🌟 實習心得

I was one of the og members of the LPaaE project, back when it was still not an internship program. Back then we were only a few people and were still thinking how this project would end up looking like. To be honest, although I was expecting new members to join, this becoming an internship program was completely unexpected. That being said, thanks to this change I could refresh my knowledge about crypto while gaining a lot of new knowledge.

What I found most interesting was the technology behind everything and the protocols. While the most frustrating topic was everything law related, although I understand the need to have some kind of control, I personally do not like how it can change at any time “just cause”.

Unfortunately, I am leaving this internship program due to new goals in life. I wish this project can be realizable and successfully go online.

🚀 專案成果

In this project I mainly did backtesting on multiple strategies, while also reading about Tomo and Friend.tech：

1. As the project is still in its early stages, we could not come to any specific conclusion while doing the backtesting. The results vary greatly and we are still in the progress of improving the script while debugging. However we have accumulated a good amount of strategies for future use.

2. The strategies can be divided depending on the indicators they use. Although most of the time they overlap, the main types are:
   • Trend Following Strategies (SMA/EMA/Trendlines/…)
   • Counter-Trend Strategies (Support-Resistance levels/MACD/Price-Volume)
   • Momentum Trading Strategies (Stochastic Oscillator/Bollinger Bands/RSI)
   • Swing Trading Strategies (ATR/RSI/Fibonacci retracement)
   • Pattern Recognition Strategies

3. Tomo is a social media with almost the same principles as friend.tech, who lost 90% of its users in a very short time. Their main goal is to let content creators have more control over their digital and revenue, while also improving their interaction with the followers/fans and preventing unilateral censorship.

• Unlike friend.tech, which is invite-only, Tomo is open to anyone and it is available to Android and iOS users while also offering multiple sign in options.

• One of the main attractions of this protocol is the ease of use. For example, users do not need to manually create a wallet when they sign up. The platform also makes the account recovery progress easier, instead of needing the user to remember the passphrase that is usually required.

• Financially, it is also cheap thanks to it being ran on Linea instead of Ethereum. With the added benefit of a high speed and low congestion.

• The economy inside the platform uses Keys, which are the tokens needed to access creators’ content (e.g. direct message, exclusive content, private chatroom, etc). The Keys can be sold and the prices are decided by the number of “sells” and “buys”. Where each transaction’s incur a 10% royalty, shared by the platform and the content creator.

I very thankful of「Web3 實習營」for giving us such an in depth training. I would also like to give special thanks to Reyer for leading us through the project, 樂樂 for the backtesting script, 宗柏 for the explanations and the alternative script。I believe this project has opened a new door for me, and I will be forever thankful for this experience. I hope we can work together sometime in the future to pave the road to the popularization of Web.
